Bayern Munich Allianz Arena is a football stadium located in the district of Fröttmaning in the northern city of Munich. Opened on May 30, 2005 with a friendly match between TSV 1860 München and 1. FC Nürnberg.
Allianz Arena is the venue for the opening of the 2006 World Cup. Upon completion, the stadium replaced the Munich Olympic Stadium as the home stadium for TSV 1860 München and FC Bayern München.
